CARAVAN DEVELOPMENTS

Following the Waverley planning appeal, the
government inspector has ruled that the polytunnels at Tuesley did need planning
permission. Planning permission had been refused by Waverley Council.
The High Court, London, on 15th. December 2006 also confirmed that polytunnels
and caravans were NOT permitted development and need Planning Permission
- even if the caravans are to house "seasonal workers".
See
extract from the High Court judge's decision. Nothing in the decision was
unique to Waverley.
This argument is surely true for Brierley, Marden and many other "caravan" developments on farms throughout the county ? Let's see how Hereford Council reacts.
Summer 2008: Hereford Council has done nothing
again - they have allowed a "temporary" caravan site to be built at Brierley !!
They know it needs planning - but are doing nothing about it.

Thank goodness the regulations for gas supplies to these caravans are quite strict - see details
